‘Substitutes’ are a sequence of projects by benandsebastian. Each brings the artist duo’s ongoing investigations into fragility, absence and incompletion back to the body through the emblematic form of the chair. The exhibition forms part of benandsebastian’s ongoing ‘Phantom Limbs’ project.

The exhibition opens on the 27th of June and runs until the 24th of August at Gallery Etage Projects, Borgegade 15E, Copenhagen.
